A Home in the Heavens

I am a Christian. That is going to be hard to avoid mentioning. I think that if you understand that as being my Core Belief System, you will also understand that it will permeate a lot of what I say, whether it is obvious or not at the time.

I like to think I respect Truth above all else. (That may not be the truth, and irony is something most of us understand better seen from a distance) If I think you are seeking the truth in a matter (and not just arguing from a rigid point of view) I am likely to give you latitude that some may think I should not. By the same token, if I feel you are about lying and distortion to make your point, my respect and tolerance is likely to be in the toilet before you cross the line, so when you do, I will hammer you when you think you should get a free pass. I will try not to be guided by blind dogma, but at times, I am certain it will seem that way, even when I am not.

I have great respect for those on the same journey I am: Seeking Truth. You may not be a Christian, but in that respect, I can call you brother and sister, for I truly believe that only by seeking the truth will you have any chance of finding it, and sadly, there are few of any faith willing to look for it!
